Introduction to the blog.

Introduction to the blog.

The world is changing. 30 years ago there don't even have a connectivity, no wifi, no 3G , 4G. There's mobile phone but not widely populated. There's no tablet. Now, we have everything.

We have laptop, we have desktop, we have mobile phone which is smart, and we call it smart phone. We have tablet(Thanks to Jobs), we have ultrabook(Thanks to Intel), we have 2 in 1 convertible laptop(Again thanks to intel).

We have from a dial up connection, to ADSL and up until it is fibre optics connectivity. Not to mention the speed has increase tremendously.

Standing in MRT/Subway station everytime you'll probably see people eyes are on their own phone, with their ears feed with earphone, they Facebook, they watch movie, and they chat through Apps.

This is it. This is the world you cannot survive without the information from WWW. Do you still remember about how people use to travel 30 years ago? They prepare map, they call for reservation, they took the plane which is so blooding expensive, that most of them couldn't afford it.

NOW, we have google map, we book hotel through online, we buy air ticket with an apps in a phone. It's all about connectivity. All these thing is possible when you have connectivity. However, when you are on the other country, you just couldn't afford to do a data roaming. You have to use wifi(which is limited and it's a WAN so the security is not so reliable.) You got to get a sim card. But there're so many different telco in different until you couldn't decide which to buy one. If you have this doubt on your mind, you are in the correct place

Welcome to this Blog. As i live my life i realize that i like travelling so much but i just couldn't afford to give up on my connectivity. I need google maps so badly so that i got a sense of security of knowing where i am now in the country. I need to stay connected so badly that if i get screwed up somewhere in the earth where i don't speak their language. Of course you can argue on using hand communication but how far you can trust on a guy outside, while the newspaper keeps reporting how badly is the crime rate. How do you instantly share your picture online with your loved one, if you do not have connectivity on your side?

This is a blog to tell you some information on that particular country but mainly it's on how you stay connected when you travels in each country.
